ZOEY'S POV.
The sound of another man running down the hall distracted me and I turned while time slowed down.
The man jumped in my direction morphing into a wolf in the air and landing on four paws just feet away from me. It's glowing eyes took in the fallen body at my feet and beast growled in my direction. These were the werewolves that choose darkness and I was going to teach them a lesson.
My body fell into a crouch until when l was eye level with the wolf. I opened my mouth and white smoke came out of it. The air in the hallway grew impossibly colder and in seconds before the wolf lunged at me, l released a burst of power and spikes of ice burst from the walls and speared into the beast before me.
Blood poured from the wounds and pooled onto the floor. The coppery scent of him only fueled……
