"Cole, don't, leave Adrian alone, deal with me" Amelia muttered inaudibly trying to use her energy to plead loud enough as he walked away. She tried to stand up from the bed but she felt too weak to even raise her head, it must have been the medications, "please, Cole, please, don't do this, don't, don't Cole, deal with me, keep Adrian out of this" Amelia muttered, shaking her head in disagreement as the tears flowed down her cheeks
"Sssshhhh, it's okay, I'm here now" Adrian bent down to hug her as he whispered in her ears
"Go away!" Amelia tried to yell
"Take a deep breath, calm down"
"Go away before it's too late, leave me alone, I'm not worthy of any of these" Amelia warned, upset about how her anger can only be expressed in an inaudible tone
