Bennie entered her room, panting softly, she held her chest and heaved a sigh of relief. She sneaked into the house, scared of Chairman Donovan and his wrath.
"Mrs Bennie, Chairman calls for you" One of the maid announced from over the door
"What was I thinking?" She wondered. "Tell him I'll be with him shortly" she instructed. "Hiding in the lion's den?" She scoffed as she removed her dress
"Chairman Donovan? You called for me" She whispered softly, walking into his study
He sat on his chair facing the window. He sighed and turned to her
She bowed her head in shame, distracting herself with her fingers
"Look at you looking so innocent. What have you been up to these days?"
"Uhmmm…. nothing"
"What happened to you Bennie? Are you growing up or you're listening to someone else? You used to be my fa……
