Chris’ POV
“Don’t follow me – “ I said as I walked around the forest.
“Am not.” Phillix said.
“You’re walking behind me.” I said.
“I’m walking, not following.” Phillix said.
I sighed and chose to just remain silent.
But, it was the other who continued to speak. “Where could this forest be? It’s not the forest where Rio collapsed.” I heard him say.
He’s right. I thought. This forest … looks familiar. I thought when I suddenly stopped. My heart pounded loudly.
“Chris?” I heard him called. “What’s wrong?” he asked, there is concern in his eyes.
“Hide!” I said and immediately pulled him behind a large tree.
“What?” he asked.
I covered his mouth. “Shh!” I gestured to him to hush.
“Where could those bastards have gone to?” we heard somebody say. “I’m gonna kill that bastard!” they s……
