Chapter 97: Gold Mine in Hands.

Lavi and the Latisiva Sister made their way slowly but surely to the former land of Latisiva. Lavi decided to take the journey slow because the Latisiva Sister cannot keep up with him if he were to go fast toward the land of Latisiva. Also, Lavi wants to make sure that he doesn't have to wait too long for Rin there.

'I'm sure of it, Rin would go to the Latisiva Nation sooner or later. But, I don't want to wait for him too long there, I want to make sure that the two of us tackle the situation together because it was more fun that way.' Lavi seems to be deep in thought from the outside.

That prompted the Latisiva Sister to asked him what's going on. After all, it's been 4 days since they went on this journey together, but Lavi barely talked at all. He only replied to the question that the sisters had.

They thought that he doesn't want to talk too much unless asked about it. That's why the sisters have been trying to melt the ice between them and asked generic questions about Lavi. Before now, they want to try to ask a more personal question, but not too deep.

"Hey, Sir Lavi. I want to know about the outside world. What kind of environment did you grew up in to be like this?"

Lavi was brought back to reality from thinking about stuff on his own and then talked to them more naturally as he is more comfortable talking about the outside world than this world.

A new knowledge has been learned by the sisters and they were also intrigued to hear about the outside world. So they get closer because of it to the point that Lavi got more comfortable asking them about what their pasts looked like.

But, that's what the Sisters feel. While, Lavi has planned it all out...

'This is great, now that they asked about my personal information, I can naturally asked them about the resources they hold and how powerful their family previously are. Because, my current goals are to give them their family land back with the hope that I get a piece of those resources!'

Although Lavi plan are a bit twisted, he also want these two sisters to be safe and back to their former glory as they are the first friends Lavi made in this world...

While Lavi is having a sweet time with his new friends going to the Nation of Latisiva...

Rin have hit a plateau in his fun time. No more fun time as he has encounter a dead time with his Divine Beasts.

Just like Lavi, he has been focusing on his cultivation of Divine Beasts. He has been having a nice and steady rise of cultivation level because he has learned more and more about Byakko, Genbu, Suzaku, and Suiryuu. Yet, he cannot put his hand near the Kirin's Horn just yet.

Which is why Rin had found himself in a plateau.

"Haah, I am still unable to cultivate the Kirin horn... I believe if I absorb such things into my body, I can turn my arm into the Kirin Horn and then that would be a secret weapon to have against Lavi."

He can only sigh and stare at the sky as he lay back on the back of Suzaku who's flying him to a particular area where Rin are confident Lavi is waiting for him.

It is as expected, Rin went to a direction where he knew there's a lot of trouble. To the direction of the Latisiva. How did Rin know? Pure instinct.

Rin decided to went back on focusing to what he wanted to do. Which is understanding the Kirin as a divine beast.

'In order to assimilate Kirin's horn to my body, I needed to understand the entirety of Kirin. After all, my cultivation is the Divine Beast assimilation Art after all.'

Rin's ability already allows him to fuse with his Divine Beasts. But, understanding his beasts even further will allow him to increase the power of not only his divine beast but also the ability of the divine beast that he can use upon fusing...

It takes him a couple of days before Rin can actually hold the Kirin horn for a few moments. Although Rin ended up being rejected by the Kirin horn once again, he is still happy because he gain an understanding of the Kirin horn which naturally raises his cultivation level.

"Nice! With this, I can confidently go toe to toe with Lavi surely!" He was confident that he can go against Lavi to a certain level.

However, as he was having a lovely time by himself, Suzaku started to rise even higher to the air and then warned Rin.

"Master, there's quite a lot of people who is seemingly angry at something in down below..."

"Oh? Really? Can you ask the little birdies to relay the information to us?"

"Already done, Master. It seems like the one down below arguing about something are a part of a Clan called the Demonic Sword. They were shocked to learn that one of their best squad, The Shadow Sword has been wiped out from existence by some unknown force." Suzaku explains about what it heard from the little birdies it controls.

'Clan? Is that how they address each other? If that's the case, then it's definitely interesting. We encounter our first 'Sect' in this world.'

"Well then Suzaku, use your birdies to gather more information. For now, we need to go to their base and after we heard information from your birdies, we can go plan ahead from there!"

"Yes Master!"

Little did Rin know, that the moment he enter that base of the bastard down below, he's going to meet up with is brother. All he thinks of right now that he needed to rest in a city and gather more information about outsider like him and Lavi.

Information is key in an unknown city, yet he's going against an unknown world. So it's bound to get Rin more serious when doing everything that he needed to do to survive.
