Savannah’s mouth flooded with incredible flavor; the fragrant sage and slightly bitter, but very rich, browned butter melted in her mouth, melding with the tender pieces of broccoli and soft pasta. The acid of the lemon pepper chicken cut through these flavors, giving her a bright note and balancing all the flavors to create a harmonious whole.
If she hadn’t been looking so intently back at Cory, her eyes probably would have rolled back into her head as she hummed her pleasure. It was amazing; better than s*x. Well, better than what she imagined s*x might be like, anyway. She blushed a little when she realized the hunger in Cory’s eye was in reaction to her small moan, rather than because of actual hunger, and shifted her eyes back down to her plate to focus on her meal.
