All of the werewolf packs calmed down when Magnus assured them that he will be handling personally the search for Andrea Catalda, of her pack, and finding the cure to the infertility disease that have struck again. Magnus knows that he got it through this time but still, he's not in a good position with the werewolves especially now that all of the packs learned how he killed the pups, the children of the Hungry Fangs pack. For the packs in the werewolf world, Magnus was evil, but he's the only one they can cling to for help. They don't have a choice not to despise him. They need him.
