It's been a month since the attack at the border. Dylan said it was a minor attack,
nothing to worry about.
My days are no longer gloomy and
the bullying at school has reduced thanks to Leilani, just last week snatched off a
girl's extension and was called to the headmaster's office, she got detention but I
stayed with her.
Today, my bestie and I are watching a movie at her house.
I'm lying on the bed as Leilani puts on the tv.
Lani's mother, Asma walks into her bedroom, she is tall and has those beautiful
Latino curves. She does look like her daughter, only that Lani is taller.
Miss Asma smiles and asks, " did you enjoy your friendship anniversary?" I nod, we
celebrated it, all Lani's idea by the way.
" We did and Mom, I beat someone at school today, so don't punish me if you get a
call from my tea……
