My name is Caroline. I was told my mother died while she was having me, so my dad picked a chosen mate to help take care of me. Though six years ago on my birthday I was supposed to shift but couldn't, no matter how much I tried nothing happened and since then everything has gone from bad to worse. On this day I was called to the Alpha's office to have a meeting with my father and the Alpha, but I was shocked to learn they are trading me to the Black Mountain Moon Pack. The Alpha of that pack is the meanest of them all, they say he kills on sight without mercy, but what will happen when he realizes I am his mate? Will he kill me? Will he toss me away like everyone else has? Will he throw me in the cells only to have me rot away? I would rather live as a rogue instead, but once I'm there everything changes. Will I ever find out the truth about what really happened or will the Alpha kill me once he finds out I am only human?
