When I was little I loved being by the water, no matter what kind of water it was; rivers, lakes, creeks, oceans you name it. But the ocean was the truest place I wanted to be. I felt like it was calling for me. Wanting me to come in.
When I was a little girl, I heard stories from my Grandmother that a Queen from the ocean had came on land and fell in love with a human and they had a baby. After the baby was born, men had came and killed the human and took the queen back to where she belonged.
As my 16th birthday is coming up, I started to feel strange. I had my birthday at my house that was looking over the ocean as i was looking over, I had fallen over the rail and landed right in the water. As I was under, things started happening to me. A swarm of bright lights were around me and I grew a tail. I didn't know what I was, but the tail was beautiful.
This is my story of my life as mermaid, new heir to the underwater kingdom.

The past few weeks to a month has been perfect with Kyle. When we were in school, we were always together but now it more then before. At lunch instead of sitting across from each, we sit next to each other to either lean on one another or hold hands. I was more the one leaning on him. Some of the girls were jealous of us because hey Kyle is hot……
