Hi my name is Della and I'm just a simple human, but then again so is everyone else. All through my childhood my mom would tell me stories of the supernatural and even though I knew they were just folktales I would stay up late just to hear them. She used to tell me stories about royal families, with Layla and Logan, then Hayley and William, then Wendy and Stephan. The last story she told me about was how Jasmine found her mate, Con, at the mating ball. I loved hearing about them, the way they met, all the trouble they went through to be together at the end and it always sounded so dramatic, so romantic and special, but like I said before these were just made up stories, folktales to get me to sleep. As I grew older I stopped hearing the stories, but I never forgot them and after graduating from college I got a job in an office building. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought that my boss was a werewolf, in fact it never entered my mind until one day when I overheard him arguing with his wife. He rejected her, but told her that she didn't have to accept it, that he just needed time and space to think. He told her to go home and think about the things she had done, then he would go and get her after some time. I have no clue as to what she had done, but she sure was upset when she left his office. I had to drop off some paperwork to my boss, but when I went in he was different, his eyes that were normally light brown were the darkest black I had ever seen. I gave him the paperwork and left him sitting alone in his office, but I couldn't get his eyes out of my mind and how they had changed. It was scary, but also familiar somehow, so I left the office and went straight home. I got on my computer and started looking things up to try and jog my memory of why it was familiar to me and soon found out that every single story my mother told me about the royals was true. I didn't want to confront them about this, but I did want to help them get back together and soon I was thrust head first into the world of the supernatural. I don't know why and I didn't want to know why my boss's wife had turned to the wrong people, but what I did know was that I was in way over my head and there was no going back. There are spies in their home and I'm trying to figure out who they are because I know this man got set up and I also know the royals are not happy one bit with this going on. Can I find out what is going on before she ends up forever in the dark? What will I do when I find out I'm not truly human like I thought, that my mother was one of them? Will I be upset or will I accept this? Either way if I don't watch my back I'll end up dead before I even know what hit me. Will Jasmine seek revenge on her husband or will she seek revenge on the woman that did this? Either way she needs help before she is in the point of no return.
