Alexandra Winchester is the princess of the Kingdom of Gavaria, a peaceful place with wonderful people. Unfortunately, Gavaria is going bankrupt as the gold in it's mines are mysteriously disappearing.

Gavaria's only hope, a marriage alliance between Alexandra and Crown Prince Dominic Wellington of Caldea, one of the richest kingdoms.

The problem with that is Alexandra already has someone she's involved with and Dominic is the biggest player of the century.

At first, Dominic is repulsed by the idea but he soon finds himself drawn to this bookworm, goody-two-shoes of a princess that is definitely not his usual type. The only problem is she wants nothing to do with him and seems to be completely immune to his charms.
