Brandy was on her way home from a night on the town when she, unfortunately, became the target of a drive-by shooting. She ended up crashing into a car and suffered head trauma. When first responders arrived, someone from her past came to mind.
To protect his family, Brandy's father hires a bodyguard. Unfortunately, Nathaniel Jansen, her cheating high school ex-boyfriend, is now her bodyguard. She has no way to convince her father to change his mind.
When Nathaniel and Brandy are forced to work together, she realizes that her feelings for him haven't changed, even though he has broken her heart.
While they are dealing with their emotions and trying to come to some sort of understanding, Axel Ross, the senator's son, accuses Brandy's father of running a smear campaign. After providing ample evidence that her father was framed, Brandy is determined to work with Axel to get to the bottom of the matter and try to get out from under his father's accusations. However, as they work together, Axel admits his growing feelings for Brandy and she finds herself in a hot love triangle.
Can they get to the bottom of this scandal before an innocent man is ruined? Will they survive the skeletons hanging in Brandy's father's closet?
