The Slave of Wrath's Heart
READING AGE 18+
His Highness, Agnor, Leader of the five kingdoms, committed horrible against humanity and for that the man was punished. His children would each be cursed with one of the Seven Deadly Sins. The powerful enchantress that pulled off this curse was seeking revenge not just for all the lives lost from this tyrant but for one life in particular, her lover.
Knowing that if his children followed in the steps of their manic father, the sin the child was cursed with would eventually consume them and they would die. Only his prodigy that was strong enough to over power the dark sin with light would be worthy to inherit the throne after their father.
All seven of his children were mostly into adulthood and still deeply affect by their sin. Their father's ways hadn't changed and he carried on in his demented fashion. It was almost time for the new year's ceremony and each of the five kingdoms would be sending one a woman to represent their land in hopes of catching the eye of the mighty Agnor or one of his children. The women that would be chose, usually at least one, their kingdom and her family would be rewarded handsomely in exchange for their daughter. These chosen women should not have been envied because some were used and abused for a week and then quickly discarded and that was a good outcome. Others could be kept as a slave and repeatedly forced into the bed of a member of this royal family. But in the kingdoms they came from it was considered a privilege to be sent to the New Year Ceremony.
For a couple of the siblings, they detested this spectacle, especially Rafael. That was until he saw her.
