"I shouldn't have made you part of my race, Gwen," Darrell said. "You should have just lived your perfect little life, away from me and away from trouble. If you keep staying with me, I'll keep putting you in danger."

Gweneviere George's life was just simple and perfect. From living with her old but fashionable grandma, to working diligently at her workplace, Gwen's life was just so small and meaningful. She only knew three places in her life very well, her house, her work place which was the town's only bank and the small restaurant close to her house.

Gweneviere mistakes Darrell as her date on a dating site she recently just found, but soon gets to know he is a dangerous man whom she shouldn't have met in the first place.
And Gwen's life is in danger when the police thinks she is his accomplice, and in order to protect her, she must also join him on the run order to save her life.
Gweneviere and Darrel's encounter was ill-fated, but soon their destiny becomes intertwined.
As they both run from the police and the imminent danger still lurking around them, will they be able to accept their growing feelings for each other amidst all the chaos?
