Charolette Demarie was blessed by the Goddess with the gift of healing, though it doesn't feel much like a gift when it earned her and her mother a place in the New Moon Pack. She spent most of her life doing as she was told, not being allowed to make friends, not being allowed to attend school, not being allowed to do much of anything except for keep secrets, like her only previous romance with a she wolf named Jasmine. However, when she turned 18 and found out that her fated mate was the Alpha’s son, Blake, she rejected him, over and over again, desperate to leave the Pack, or at least be with Jasmine. She doesn't want to be the Luna to a place where she's never really felt at home, no matter how much Blake is growing on her, but she will help him try to figure out who keeps trying to kill him. While she struggled with trying to figure out her feelings for Blake, she is told by the Alpha of a neighboring Pack, Alpha Damien, that she is her second chance mate. On top of all of this, her mother had been hiding a secret from her that will change the way that she viewed the world, and herself. How will she deal with all of this when if she was a normal teenager, she would barely be attending Prom?
