It's been two years since my parents were killed and I had still been wandering the forest in search of permanent home. It was only by happenstance that I stumbled upon the witches. Their acceptance and kindness was unexpected considering my own kind had abandoned me. They took me in and raised me as their own. But there has always been a niggling feeling in the back of my mind that screamed at me that there was more to my destiny than living in a little cottage in the mountains.

The Appalachian pack was truly a sight to behold. The sound of children’s laughter filled the air as they chased one another through the streets. Older wolves were sitting on their porches or working in their gardens. As I looked closer, I was shocked to find that not all the residents were wolves.
