But that would change, since from an insignificant dead shark, in an Earth parallel to ours, there would come to be the most feared empire in all the probable multiverse. Everyone would know of its origin, and everyone would use its indomitable spirit as an example.

What he could see was a people tall and thin, softened by constant clashes with the Romans, and now against their blood brothers or against hideous creatures taken from the most fearsome legends of their people.
