Deep beneath Nicolai's settlement, in a chamber or rather a cave adorned with crystal orbs, potions, and partly bubbling with unpleasant smoke, the palms of a soothsayer grazed over a red, flickering, crystal orb.
"After all these years…I finally found her." Her crackly voice paused and rose higher as she approached the last words.
Her mysterious eyes, savage and expressionless suddenly came to life as she stared at Elyssa talking to a patient in the flickering orb.
Her shrunken lips widened, making her wrinkles even more prominent and showing her rows of rot-brown teeth.
It took a long time before she said the long-awaited words, "Got it! I found it! Vortex is a human nurse!!!"
