Three Days

“It broke me to watch you marry him,” Evan whispered as he held me, our hearts beating rapidly.
Avery Perkins is going to see her best friend, Evan Neilsen, after his now ex fiancé left him in a new city far away from his family and friends. The last time they had seen each other was at Avery’s wedding almost 6 years ago. Avery finally realized she was in love with Evan after she tried to date someone new, but when she finally confesses to him how she feels, he told her there was someone else. Heartbroken she returned to the arms of her on again off again boyfriend, and ends up pregnant with his child. Fast forward 6 years and another child later, and Avery is still married to her children’s father, but still in love with her best friend. When Evan, lonely and hurting far from home, says he needs his best friend to be there for him, of course, she goes.
Avery only has three days with Evan, three days to find out who the “someone else” could have been, three days to finally find out if Evan ever felt more for her than lust, and hopefully, 3 NIGHTS, to make Evan feel so good he forgets all about his ex, and whoever the “someone else” was all those years ago.
