An entire summer has passed since the last anyone heard from San Fransisco’s most famous superhero Onyx. Where did he go? What was he doing? The world will likely never get their answers, but now he’s ready to make a comeback. Only, life is more complicated now. Onyx has always known there was evil in this world, but after a near death experience at the beginning of summer, he’s having a hard time believing that there’s still hope out there too. Especially when the woman who tried to kill him is now being held hostage in his own home. Oh, and that woman is his girlfriends supposedly-dead mother. Onyx has spent the entire summer avoiding all of his problems and lying to the people he loves, but now that his girlfriend’s gone back to school and he’s back to work himself, he knows he can’t avoid the problems forever. But can he face these problems without repeating the same mistakes of his the superhero’s before him?
