You would think that moving to a new town would be a great way to start new. It may be, unless you were Tatum Hall, a 17 year old who was living with her grandmother until just a week ago when she passed away in her sleep. Now Tatum has to come live with a woman who gave her life, but who she has no clue about. Sheila Young, Tatum’s birth mom, was your typical deadbeat mom. Stripper by night, w***e by 24, if she was f*****g someone for money, it was for her next high.
Life with her grandparents was perfect, lots of love, smiles, joy and laughs. Now, that was all a memory, one Tatum would relive through her tears every night.
The school she was registered in, Hale High School, was one that was for the rich and richer. Your bank account had to have this many zeros to ride this ride and your daddy’s better have more. Tatum was a student there, for some unknown reason as she was broke and her mother was even worse off, but she was the classic “sponsored” student.
Then there’s the Hat Trick Boys. Derek Fitzpatrick, Paul Peters, Samuel Douglas. The three top hockey players for the Elks hockey team, with Derek being team captain. Hot enough on the outside to melt the ice around them, but cold as the ice he skates on, on the inside.
Fitz’ Bitches, Celine Fitzpatrick, Derek’s spoiled little sister, were the mean queens of Hale High School and no one crossed them or the Hat Trick Boys. That is, until a 5’6” blonde hair, blue eyed, take no s**t, girl came into town with her 1980 baby blue Chevy Silverado.
Will Tatum be able to melt the hearts of the Hat Trick Boys or will she be the next victim of the Fitz’s Bitches?
