When Aldona opened her eyes, she saw the snow-covered forest that was her Mind Space. The forest outside Sashan in winter continued to be her safe spot, and she had a feeling that it would continue to be so when she was an adult.
Maybe even continue to be as when she old and grey, if she lived for that long.
