“Get out here you lazy piece of shit.” I start to wake up thinking that I’m hearing someone yelling at me. My door opens as I start to pick myself up off of my pallet. All of a sudden, I feel a hard kick on my side. “Ugggghhh” The kicks just keep coming. One to my head snaps my head back hard. Finally, it stops long enough for me to scoot back and sit up against the wall. I c***k open my eyes just enough to see the future Luna of our pack. Her face is scrunched up, pissed off. I use the wall to help me stand up. I do it as quickly as I can. I look back at her. Bowing my head to the side I bare my neck in submission. “Luna, how may I be of service? “Get out there and scrub those floors until they shine and then you are to have breakfast ready. You have three hours before everyone gets back.”
This is just another day in my life. I wake up and do chores until everything is done. I’m lucky if I get two to three hours of sleep a night. Everyone here has free reign to beat and abuse me how they see fit. You see I’m an orphan and no one knows who my parents are or if I’m even a wolf. The Alpha and Luna have taken me in but treat me like a slave. They named me Dog. I just thank Goddess for my best friend Lucy. She has given me the name Terry; she is my family. Now that I’m getting ready to turn 18 and see what I actually am the Future Alpha Dirk puts a collar on me to control my shift and keep me as a slave. I just have one hope my Mate.
