Ellie Jones is the typical 17 years old good girl. She is a straight A's student and the only child in her family. She met her best friend Scott Lincoln in kindergarten. Since then they are always together. Ellie and Scott go to school together, do slumber parties at each other house's and have fun.
One day his parents moved out of the town and took him with them. Scott promised that he'll call Ellie every day. That was at the beginning. After couple months the calls became rare until it became one year since he has moved. Then they lost connection. Ellie thought that this is the end of their friendship.
Couple years later Ellie and her parents moved to another town and she had to change schools. On her first day of school she met a boy who she thought that have lost forever. But now he is different. The worst thing for Ellie was that he didn't recognize her. For him she was just a normal girl, but for her he was her childhood best friend.
The pieces began to line up when he remembered her.
