My name is May Woods, which is pretty funny considering I was born in a big city hospital in the middle of winter, but oh well, that was just how my parents were I guess. I work in a hardware store right now and I was planning to move out into the middle of nowhere, which is just how I liked it, but everything got turned upside down and back to front. My new job was in Bluefield VA and I had just four days to pack my stuff up and get there before they gave the job to someone else. I was doing great with the time and got there a little before I expected to, but when I got there I was told that they had already given the job away. I didn’t think that a single person could have so much bad luck, but things looked like they were finally picking up for me, that was until one day an animal ran out in front of my car. I tried my hardest to stop, but I didn’t have time to and I hit it. I rushed out to see if I could find the wounded or possibly dead animal, but was shocked when I found an injured and naked man. He was bitten, bruised, bloodied and beaten, but he was also white as a ghost. I tried to help him and called the emergency services, knowing that they would help, but I had no idea that I was being watched by none other than the werecat queen. Hope. She had been trying to escape with her son, but he ended up running into my car. After that she started showing up at the store and we got to know each other, but then she invited me to her home and I had no idea that Hope, her husband, children and the rest of them were supernatural creatures, let alone that I was mated to one of them. I had read all about the supernatural and about all the different types of were’s and vampires, but I never for a single second in my life thought they were real and that I would be the one to defend my new home and family from those monsters. What will I do when I learn I have saved the third toughest werecat out there? They are after my blood now, but I say bring it on. You mess with my family and friends, then you will have to go through me and I will stop at nothing to keep them safe. What will my new enemies do when they find out that I am just a human and I have defeated one of their own. Let's find out….
