Rejected. Humiliated and unwanted.
That’s how the entire kingdom saw curvy omega Maeve Carter after Alpha heir Zayne Ashcroft publicly shattered their mate bond, mocking her body and calling her unfit to stand beside him as Luna.
Devastated, Maeve runs into a deadly blizzard and wakes up in the arms of the last man she expected, Rowan Ashcroft, Zayne’s estranged cousin and the rebellious captain of the Ice Wolves hockey team. Rowan offers her the ultimate revenge: pretend to be his girlfriend for one season.

His unexpected kindness and fierce protection begin to heal her broken heart. But as their fake relationship turns heated and real, ancient secrets about rejected mates come to light, and
Zayne’s wolf awakens with a terrifying possessiveness he never felt when she was his.
Now the two cousins are headed for war, and Maeve stands in the center, wanted by the man who broke her and cherished by the one who might destroy everything to keep her.
