In a hospital that never truly sleeps, medicine is lived one patient at a time.
Dr. John, a meticulous neurosurgeon, faces cases where seconds matter and every decision carries consequences. Across the corridor, Dr. James, a sharp and patient neurologist, searches for answers in symptoms, reflexes, histories, and subtle neurological signs.
Their specialties are different, but their work constantly brings them together.
Emily, a fourth-year medical student beginning her first experience with clinical medicine, watches, questions, and learns from both. From morning handovers and ward rounds to emergency admissions, neurological examinations, brain scans, surgeries, and difficult diagnoses, she discovers that medicine is far more complicated than she imagined.
Around them, residents, interns, nurses, assistants, and professors become part of the daily rhythm of the neurology and neurosurgery services.
Some cases are straightforward. Others are not.
