This story tells of Alex Qi, an ordinary young man who, at the lowest point in his life, is unexpectedly chosen by the vampire butler Mike Nicholas Farrar and forced to accept the inheritance, becoming the sole heir to the fourteenth vampire clan, the "Arbitrators."
