"Yes, I am."

"I'm Alexa Spencer. But you can just call me Lexi." She smiled and held out her hand.

Is she seriously expecting me to shake hands with her? Mark raised an eyebrow as he looked at her face and then the smooth and fair hand that she held out to him.

Lexi looked deep into his gaze and saw that his eyes darken. What the hell is wrong with this guy? Why is he looking at me as if I'm deranged or something?

Before she can open her mouth to say something, Mark pulled her hand and she came crashing into his hard chest.
