Eviee had always been what you would call supernaturally inclined. From a young age, she was in and out of mental institutes constantly being put on different medications for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and multiple personality disorder.
Nobody had ever believed her when she told them she couldn't remember what had happened after a spirit entered her body.
Over the last year, Eviee had shut down lingering quietly in the dark confines of the orphanage she had called home between stays at the institute. No family ever wanted to adopt the mentally unstable orphans.
That is until the day the old recluse from a couple of towns over decided to visit the local orphanages.
