My Destroyer, Our Apocalypse
READING AGE 18+
The first time the world ended, the man I loved closed the gates on my brother and left him to die.
Six months later, I woke up before the apocalypse with one chance to change everything.
My brother is alive. The outbreak hasn't begun. The man who destroyed my life is still a stranger who looks at me like I fascinate him, not like the woman who once begged him to save the only family she had left.
This time, I won't fall in love with Garran Rook. I won't trust his promises, mistake his kindness for safety, or let him decide whose life is worth saving.
But the future is already changing. Strange illnesses are appearing months too early, the city's water system is showing signs of failure, and the memories I thought would save us are becoming useless.
Now I need Garran's expertise to survive what's coming, even though working beside him is awakening feelings I buried with the world that died.
When the gates close again, will I finally have the power to save my brother?
Or will I discover that some people are impossible to save, no matter how many chances you're given?
I have six months to stop the apocalypse. Falling for the man who broke me was never part of the plan.
