Ever since they were kids Aria and Theo had shared a special bond, one that slowly evolved into something much more, or at least that was what she thought. The night they finally took the next step, Aria had been mostly thrilled, but the next morning Theo called it a mistake. Furious and hurt, Aria rushed home and fled to Paris to escape him. But running isn’t the answer and sometimes actions have far wider consequences than one expects.
Aria finds herself faced with several major decisions, the first of which is breaking it off with her somewhat boyfriend Jake. She thought they were on the same page when it came to their relationship, which was meant to be a façade to make their exes jealous, but when she confronts him about breaking it off it doesn’t go as planned. A man comes out of the shadows to abduct her. Aria wakes to find herself in a cell surrounded by other women, all were taken from off the street as well. What is worse, she finds out Jake is a part of this very same kidnapping ring.
She must keep her head on her shoulders in order to survive and find a way to send clues back to her family to help them find her. Can they reach Aria in time? And what happens when Theo must confront the consequences of their single night together? What challenges await their relationship when Aria decides to move to New York and make her grand entrance as the DaLair heiress?
