As Adanne fights through each trial she makes new friends and together they realize the horrifying truth. The world they are in is not real but a virtual simulation. The disaster hasn't gotten to Lagos yet or even Africa like they were made to believe. Also, death in the game means death in reality. She must outsmart the system by surviving the trials and uncover who is behind this experiment before she loses herself to the game. But as the challenges force participants to betray each other can Adanne afford to trust anyone?
