When Nina broke up with her boyfriend Richard, she thought this would be the end of everything. But, little did she know that even if they broke up, she would never be able to get away from his shadows, as Richard used to approach her all the time knowing she was dating someone else. When Nina and Nolan, her new boyfriend decided to tie the knot on their wedding day Nolan didn’t show up. Instead, Richard came up and did the ceremony in place of him. He brought back Nina to his house, blacking her saying he was going to destroy her brother’s business unless she listened to him.
To her surprise, she met Nolan there and learned that he was Richard’s half-brother, and she dated him without knowing about it. Feeling betrayed by the person she loved, and seeing him with Kiara her best friend she ran away from home without telling Richard. She decided never to fall in love.
All Nina ever wanted from Richard was to be loved. He was always busy with work and bought her everything that anyone might wish for. But he never tried to understand what she wanted. Nina’s dad never loved her mom, and only abused her, going as far as beating her up in front of them. Even though they were never poor, she never saw her parents being in love. This made her year for a partner who would love her and treasure her.
Richard’s parents always used to teach him that the power of money can change everything. This became his motto in life. When he started Nina, he thought money could help him keep her by his side and eventually became obsessed with her. But, he turned out to be wrong and now wants to keep her by his side no matter what.
Will they be able to realize their feelings for each other, even though they have different views on life? Or will they go their ways like they did before?
