After Marina lost her mother in a tragic accident, she moves with her best friend Valerie to Los Angeles to pursue her dream. Not soon after arriving there, Marina experiences events that she can't explain or understand and one of them is Grayson. The familiar yet terrifying feeling she would get whenever she met him was something she couldn't comprehend. It was as if they were both old souls that were both somehow connected. Every time she got closer to Grayson the more she came closer to the ugly truth that he didn't wanted her to know. When the dark secret unravelled, Marina never thought in a million years that this could be a part of the real world. As soon as Marina reached at Vanessa's home, she rushed inside and tried to see whether Valerie was okay. She was about to shout down her name when she saw Valerie sleeping on the sofa with Daniel downstairs on the floor, holding her hand while leaning on it and sleeping.
