I looked at Jack with disapproval. He was shaggy and dirty to say the least. He was unshaven, the prickly stubble on his cheeks and his unkempt side burns looking totally awful. His clothes were nasty and he had not changed them since he left my office two days ago, before landing himself in trouble with the police.
