Koen Moretti is exhausted. As the heir to a crumbling empire, he's spent his life dodging high-caliber bullets and poisoned whiskeys, waiting for the one assassin professional enough to finally finish the job.

Then he meets Eira.

Eira is, by all objective measures, a walking catastrophe. She's the "worst living assassin" in the underworld-a woman who trips over flat surfaces and once accidentally pepper-sprayed herself while trying to look menacing.
