THE MASK SLIPS

Dear Readers,My heart was aching while writing this chapter! Finding out that not only was Evelyn betrayed by the two people she trusted most, but that her own half-brother Caspian was behind her mother’s murder all along... the level of cruelty is unmatched. But as the dark night takes Evelyn, remember: the darkest hour comes right before the dawn. The traitors think they’ve won, but they have no idea what’s coming for them once the second bloom begins! Reader Question: Which betrayal hit you the hardest in this chapter—Lyra slipping the poison into her tea for six months, or the revelation about her mother? Let me know in the comments! Reminder:Next chapter drops on schedule! Make sure to add The Sovereign’s Vengeance: Second Bloom to your library so you never miss an update, and leave some power stones/votes if you're ready to see Evelyn's ultimate comeback! With love and suspense,Faye Delphine #vote#
