I could imagine parts of this may seem confusing, but it's only because James is very good at keeping things to himself. He knows Ophelia has been at uni with Ares, he also knew he was bringing her to his home (hoping they'd have no idea, of course), hence his comment 'Oh good God Serena, what are we doing?" ....except Serena has no idea Augustus' son goes to Vale, nor that he's the same guy Ophelia has a thing for. Question is: does she know Augustus has a natural-born Son?...
