“Katrina! Katrina!”
Someone suddenly grabs Katrina's arm.
Lost in deep thought, Katrina startles and almost screams. When she turns around and sees Farrah standing behind her, she covers her chest and sighs in relief.
“Katrina, what were you thinking about? I’ve been desperately calling you for the past few minutes. Why did you ignore me? You even walked faster!” Farrah says, gasping for breath.
As soon as Farrah reached the gate of the housing estate, she saw Katrina. She couldn’t catch up with Katrina until she was all the way at the foot of the stairs.
Hearing Farrah’s words, Katrina is a little embarrassed. “I... I didn't hear you. I’m sorry. Why are you here, Farrah?”
“When you told me that you’ll be on duty tonight, I decided to come over and bring you a midnight snack. I’m worrie……
