Mandy grabbed her purse and headed for the front door to leave the cottage, and her mother looked at her in question.
"Where are you going?" asked Lynn, as she set down the paper she was reading.
"I'm going out to hang out with my friends,” said Mandy frankly, and she looked at her mother with no emotion.
Her mother looked at her and gave her a look of warning.
"You mean those kids from the football game?" Lynn asked her in a snotty tone.
Mandy didn't like the tone that her mother was using to speak of her friends, so Mandy only nodded. Lynn grabbed her daughter's arm in panic.
"Amanda, those kids are bad news. They are the children of our enemy," Lynn said, as her grip tightened on Mandy's arm.
Angrily, Mandy looked at her mother and yanked her arm out of her mother's grip as she looked at Lynn with disgust.
"Get a hold of yourself, mother! My friends are not dangerous, and they are not their parents!" Mandy growled.
Lynn immediately cowered on the floor, and Mandy chuckled as she walked out the door.
Lynn watched as her daughter left and disappeared out of sight. She believed in her own mind that this was going to get worse, and she decided it was time to go talk to the beast. Lynn thought it was time for him to know about everything that was going on.

Lynn woke up early that morning, and she told Braun that she had to go meet with Cara. Lynn left the cottage quickly and headed into Haven. As she made her way through the small village, she pulled her hood over her head and made her way to the large cave.
Leonard had a stairwell built and gave everyone an open invitation if they needed to come see him. Cautiously, Lynn walked up the stairwell and walked into the cave's large mouth opening. The cave was drafty, and there was a scent of dead old rock in the air. The cave walls slowly dripped with water. Nervously, Lynn pulled her jacket tighter around her body as she walked deeper into the cave. She stopped when she reached Leonard, and he had his back to her.
"My Lord, hello. May I trouble you for some council?" she asked as she looked up at the beast.
Leonard turned his massive head toward her and smiled.
"My dear Lynn, why yes, of course!" Leonard said, happily.
Cautiously, Lynn watched his reaction and sighed. She questioned herself for a moment.
Am I really doing the right thing? she asked herself.
If she told him about their secret, that would mean that she was going against her own flesh and blood, her family. She sighed heavily as she wondered. The law was the law. Persistently, she shoved her feelings aside and took a deep breath.
"My daughter Amanda, she has changed so much. She grows more powerful every day. She is more powerful than her father and I. She has alpha capabilities. We can not control her," she said, as she fidgeted with the seam of her jacket.
Leonard was amazed at how the purebred girl was evolving.
"Really? That is fascinating,” said Leonard, happily.
Lynn looked up at him and gave him a strange look.
Was he happy about Mandy? she asked herself.
Leonard must have noticed the look on Lynn's face because he changed his reaction.
"I mean, that's terrible. So, Amanda is more aggressive,” he said, and Lynn nodded.
She thought about when she met the forbidden families.
Should I tell him? What would he do to the children? Would her daughter be locked away forever or, worse, exiled from Haven? Lynn was lost in her thoughts, and Leonard saw how hard Lynn was thinking.
He looked at her in question.
"Something else on your mind?" he asked, as he lifted an ugly eyebrow.
She looked up at Leonard and sighed in frustration.
The law is the law! she told herself.
"I have met the Hardy and Wood families!" she stated, and Leonard looked at her oddly.
"How? We don't leave the community,” said Leonard, as he eyed her suspiciously.
"At Andrew's boys' football game. Mandy is also on the cheerleading squad. The forbidden families' children go to the same school as ours. They didn't seem like they were bad people,” snitched Lynn.
Leonard thought for a moment, to let her words sink in. He wasn't expecting that Anna and Tom had offspring. Leonard looked at Lynn and snarled aggressively.
"They have children? They aren't bad people? They have taken everything from us!" Leonard snarled at her angrily.
Frightened, Lynn cowarded to the rock floor in terror. After glaring at the woman for a moment, Leonard chuckled and straightened. Lynn sighed in relief. She thought he was going to kill her.
"Looks like the kids will be going to camp a little earlier than planned. We are going to be pulling them all from school,” he said with a smile, and Lynn looked up at Leonard in disbelief.
"No, wait! It's their senior year. Please my Lord, let them graduate!" cried Lynn, and Leonard looked at Lynn with sympathy.
"I'm sorry. Maybe you should have waited to tell me the information after the kids graduated. You only have yourself to blame. You are dismissed,” snarled Leonard.
Nervously, Lynn nodded and sadly scurried out of the cave.
Oh my, what have I done? she thought to herself, as she stumbled blindly home.

"What about this one?" Cara said, as she held a dress up to her body and twirled.
Andrew smiled at his wife. They were shopping at the local market in Haven. Some werewolf women could sew, and they were in charge of clothing for the community.
"Whichever one you want, dear!" Andrew said, happily, and chuckled.
Cara put the dress back and continued to look on the rack of displayed dresses.
"Hey, Andrew!"
Andrew turned around and saw his brother walking up to him. He smiled and stuck out his hand.
"Braun, hi." he said and shook Braun's hand, as Braun clapped his brother on the back.
"Shopping trip, with the women?" asked Braun, as he laughed, and Andrew smiled.
"I don't mind a shopping day with my wife every once in a while,” stated Andrew, as he looked at Cara with love.
Surprisingly, Braun looked around.
"Where is Lynn?" he asked, and Andrew looked at him funny.
"Hi, Braun," Said Cara, as she walked up to them, and she was holding a bag of the dress she had just bought.
"Hi Cara. Is Lynn in the dressing room?" asked Braun.
Cara and Andrew looked at each other and then looked at Braun, confused.
"Lynn isn't with us,” said Cara, as she adjusted the bag in her hand, and Braun looked at them.
"What? She said she was meeting with you this morning!" said Braun, and Cara shook her head.
"Andrew and I had breakfast this morning, and then we have been out shopping ever since,” said Cara, and Andrew looked at Braun with concern.
"Why would she tell me she was meeting you and go someplace else?" he asked, and Cara and Andrew shrugged.
"Come on, we will help you find her,” said Andrew, and the three of them walked off to search for Lynn.

Later that night, everyone in Haven was called to the courtyard. The courtyard was in the center of Haven. In the middle of Glee, there was a square concrete courtyard that they called the square, and Leonard had molded Haven after Glee. Joseph and Damian caught up with Mandy on their way to the courtyard.
"What's this about?" asked Damian, annoyed.
"I am not sure," Mandy said, as she shrugged her shoulders.
Her father worked with Leonard, but she was too busy with her relationship with Kevin to even bother with what her parents were doing. They made their way to the courtyard and saw that Leonard was in the center, and the community surrounded him.
"Citizens of Haven, I have called you here tonight to celebrate the new list of trainees that will be heading off to camp this year. All the trainees will be selected by next Friday,” stated Leonard.
Some werewolves in the crowd cheered. Some fathers clapped their children on the back and congratulated them. The looks on the kids' faces told you that they were not too excited about camp. Mandy looked at Joseph and Damian and she scoffed.
"That's prom night!" she exclaimed, and Joseph looked at her.
"I'm sure he will let us go to prom,” he said matter-of-factly.
"Once your name is drawn, you will be pulled from all activities outside of Haven, including school and any upcoming activities,” stated Leonard.
Mandy growled through her teeth, and Damian laughed in disbelief.
"Wow, this son of a b***h is really trying to ruin our lives!" Damian said, lightly.
He took anger to a whole different level. He laughed when he was angry. Some bullies at school saw it as a weakness, but Damian showed them that weakness was not the case. The bullies left him alone after he beat one of them to a bloody pulp. Joseph and Mandy looked at him sadly and nodded.
"The first two names drawn are Micah and Thomas. I will be drawing two names at a time, until all the names have been drawn,” said Leonard, as a grin formed on the beast's ugly face.
Everyone clapped as two young boys walked to the center of the courtyard. Joseph, Damian, and Mandy sighed in relief.
"Maybe our names won't get pulled! We are the original purebreds!" said Damian, as they headed back home.
"I hope so,” said Joseph sadly, and Damian threw his arm over his brother's shoulders as they walked.
"Well, we will deal with it when the time comes. Surely, we are above the rest and Leonard won't treat us like he is treating the other pups," Damian said, as he squeezed his brother's shoulders.
Suddenly, Mandy punched Damian in the arm as hard as she could. Damian pitched forward and then looked at his cousin with a confused look on his face.
"What was that for?" he asked, as he glared at her, and Mandy glared back at him.
"Don't you think for a second that monster won't turn on us? We are not that special," she growled at him.
Damian looked at her for a moment and then they continued to walk back home.

Andrew, Cara and Braun found Lynn at her cottage. She said she wasn't feeling well. When Andrew, Cara and Braun went to the called meeting, they realized that Lynn had gone to Leonard. She snitched, and now their kids would pay for it.
