Chapter 17

I have shopped with people like Mark, my late husband being one. If I liked something but put it back, he would sneakily collect it, and when we got home, it would be in the pile of all the many things he thought I needed. It is a wonderful gesture, but it can be exasperating. On the other hand, a cat Christmas sweater is something I considered for one of mine. He has short, thin fur and gets cold easily.
