Boom!! “s**t”. Captain Briggs suddenly cursed loudly and jumped behind a nearby metal platform, before backing out an order for his soldiers to take cover.
The booming sound was a gunshot sound from an unknown hidden sniper. Another undiscovered variable that was uncounted for.
A random sniper was nowhere close enough to earn a curse from Captain Briggs, but that one shot destroyed one of his soldier’s heads immediately. Blood blossomed before falling like rain, dying the finely tiled floor with a tint of red.
All of the soldiers, including Clark, reacted extremely fast as they hid behind different structures in the mansion. After finding cover, they finally started searching in horror for the mysterious shooter.
