I wanted to delve deeper into Jayden's character and his conflicting emotions about his situation with Bridget. It was important to show how out of place Jayden feels in Bridget's world, with the expensive clothes and tech, while also highlighting the power dynamics between them.The shopping trip with Maria symbolizes how Jayden is being molded to fit into Bridget's life, but internally, he's resisting. I also wanted to explore Jayden's complicated feelings about intimacy, especially after losing his virginity to Bridget.
