Zax observed Nulivs's soul with great intent. Just by looking at the outermost layer of the membrane, he detected a sense of familiarity, shared tragedy.
For her, the pain and sorrow spawned from the loss of a mother and brother, for him it originated of a much larger, nigh incomparable scale. Nevertheless, the mental damage was the same for even if "Few" represented everything for her and "Many" represented everything for him, the end of their world was all the same.
'I'm changing'. He meant his manifestation.
Slowly, he felt its facial feature convulsing. A sort of pain in its head that its root extended from Nulivs's sea of consciousness, straight to his soul and burrowed beneath the bottomless sea of emotions, to his caged Infernal true self.
