Torn Apart

This chapter was a little painful to write. I put myself in Amelia's place and I cannot imagine being away from someone your soul is almost tied to for so long. If you have a family member, or spouse who is in the military, and have experienced the pain of separation while they/you was deployed, you are so strong. I can't imagine that constant worry. So what are your thoughts on this chapter? About Amelia's plans of giving herself to Roman ruined? I know it is a huge invasion of privacy to be checked by a doctor, but the Council are old assholes who want to make sure they are in control of everything. UGH.
