51: The Beginning Chapter 1

You are just getting your first glimpses of this cast of characters. When you work in a small department, you often have two people with the same first name. In one department, I worked with Big Phill and Little Phill. In another, we had four full-time and multiple part-time officers; of them, we had four Bills. Once in a while, you get lucky and have someone like Cat to work with, which makes everything more fun.
