Chapter 18

This was a tough chapter to write. While this story is not a true story, I did steal some ideas from my life. I was a military spouse. My husband served several year and longer deployments in Iraq. Their base really did get attacked while we were skypeing a few times. They saw some sad and terrible things over their. I hope it wasn’t too graphic for you guys. And communications black outs were the WORST. Being a foreign spouse I had no family nearby. It was a really rough period. I hope I didn't upset anyone with that bit.
