Avid reader I can stay up all night just reading a good book. And I’m an aspiring author. I love to write as much as I love to read. Sometimes the words flow and sometimes they don’t that just part of the journey.

STORY BY Touched By A Vampire

His Cursed Mate!

His Cursed Mate!

Reads

The Story says the children of the Moon Goddess are Cursed! Cursed to painfully shift into a werewolf. The truth is, that isn’t the curse. We weren’t cursed. We were her children and she loved us, but she gave us a choice, free will if you will. With that, the choice to reject our mates and that’s where our curse lay. We were cursed with the pain of severing our bond with our mate, we were cursed with the pain of feeling our mate with another. Pain was our curse! You see this isn’t your typical werewolf story. I’ve lived a thousand different lives, but I was never marked by my mate. My Curse? I’m destined to die before he ever gets the chance. A thousand years and every one is always the same. I’ve been birthed, I’ve been loved and I’ve loved him in return, but the cycle repeats with my impending death. So you see our curse isn’t what you think it. It’s me never being with my Fated Mate. It’s dying every time in his arms, it’s never completing our bond. It’s her taking everything from me once again. Just to prove that she can. I’m Jazabell St. John and I’m a hybrid that has reincarnated for a thousand years and I hope that my story ends with this one.

“Can I make you a coffee?” I asked. Her blue eyes looked cautiously around the room. She had no idea what she was, but I knew eventually she’d start to experience sharper vision and hearing. Her senses would soon heighten simply from being near her kind. She nodded. “Sure, I’d appreciate it.” Her voice was silky and smooth. She wasn’t afraid of me which was a good sign, but she was weary and that made Hunter growl. I couldn’t blame her. I simply nodded and turned away from her and reached the top cabinet for a mug. I stuck a new pod into the Keurig and waited for her coffee to brew. She tried to hold back her shiver. I linked my Delta to bring her a blanket and to get the fireplace started for her. I pulled out the cream and sugar. I didn’t know what she liked and how she liked it, but I honestly couldn’t wait to find out.
